Whats happening this week!

Good Morning all,

Boy, the first term is moving right along, and the students seem to be settling into Junior High School quite well. In English Language Arts students have been reading a novel of their own, that they will complete by October 19th, and then complete a book talk project on that novel. Which will be due the 28th of October. Most of the work for this project will be done in the classroom. In writing students are just finishing up a writing assignment called "I Am," these will be displayed at on curriculum night, they are lovely, and very creative.

In science 72 students have started a unit on the Earths Crust. Students have been learning about how the earth looks physically millions of years ago. They have also been learning about the earths composition, plate tectonics, and how these processes affect the earth on a daily basis.

Curriculum Night is on October 1st from 6:30 to 8pm. All Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
